I guess her internal sense of gender is up for interpretation, but as a woman in a male-dominated profession and many male-dominated hobbies I also found the scene where the her husband thinks her interest in/skill at fighting is endearing and attractive right up until she shows that she's better than him at it, at which point he immediately turns on her, to be one of the most painfully relatable things I've ever watched.
