Like... kids who read have their own things now. I can't imagine it's going to be popular amongst the children of millennials, at least those of an age where anything their parents are/were deeply into is considered cringe. For kids who did grow up with their parents putting the movies on, I don't know how much they even CARE.

I know one young teen relative who grew up on it bc his grown-ups loved it, and like... he's been harry potter for Halloween before and all that, but since then he's had Percy Jackson and that was way more like... HIS, and not just a thing that an adult wanted him to love. And he's got other things he reads and re-reads that strike me as being cooler than hp to him.

At this point, it's difficult for many kids to sit through a Disney movie. Their brains are wired for short-form content.
