Re: Do you ever read fanfic about things you haven't read/watched/played?

Nope.

The most I’ve done is go looking at the kinds of fic there are for a fandom out of curiosity, but I do not actively read fic for canon as I have no interest in. I need the emotional connection to the characters to want to read fic in the first place and most fanfics t like books where you get introduced to them, you have to know who they are already and that has no appeal for me.
