Re: Do you read romance?

Yes. Not as much as I used to. But it is a genre I like reading quite a bit. I like historical romance fantasies because the tropes are well laid out, and because it's a romanticized past, it's easy to get into the fantasy of it all. Modern romances can be trickier to enjoy because it throws off my immersion. Like "of course the police officer is the male protag's cousin! Makes it easy!"
OTOH I love Modern AUs for fanfics that are romance focused. XD
