Those days definitely existed lol. My mom was telling me about the innumerable Sailor Moon fanfics she remembered reading in college, but couldn't anymore because they were all gone.

When I was confused, since there was fanfiction.net and those fics couldn't possibly all have been deleted, she laughed and explained the fall of Geocities, and the destruction of countless personal websites (and, in turn, the fanfiction on them)
