It really was - I got the T-shirt!

A t-shirt?

Yep - my Dad got it for me. Not the sort of thing he usually did, but the joke must have landed for him. It was all a bit of fun in a dreary decade. The Guardian did another pull-out section the next year, about how the islands were migrating at speed across the ocean due to erosion and deposition, and so on. It all got a bit Monty Python.

Not sure what happened to the t-shirt, but it's been a looong time.
