Why not ship 'em both? There's no rule against it. Ship NaruSasu for the straight-out power of the bond between the two of 'em, and SasuSaku for the smex (not to mention likelihood to happening).

To those commenters who are wondering why this is a secret, my guess is it's due to the ridiculous amount of SasuSaku-bashing in the SasuNaru fandom, as it's easily one of the most openly despised pairings in the entire fandom.
