Dude, what's with the Soderburgh drama? They work without each other tons. And Clooney's done a lot of variety—comedy, drama, big budget, small, and the stuff he's directed has been great. There are critiques to be made of Clooney (like that he's a little too pleased with himself) but lack of variety isn't one of them.

I haven't liked him that much since he was Booker on Roseanne and even then, he was a little douchey.

This movie confuses me! On the one hand, George Clooney is George Clooney and UNF. On the other, Mr Fox was one of my childhood heroes and I don't think I could handle him with an American accent. In my head he was always the epitome of the English gentleman scoundrel.
But, again, on the first hand, George Clooney.
