If you mean the character, I'm not sure anything could make me hate Cal Lightman. He's a badass motherfucker. That's the POINT.

It was a throwaway line in "Lack of Candor" from when Lightman was talking about how he looked into Reynolds' background and knew all of the agent's deep dark secrets. Reynolds' snapped back that he did a bit snooping of his own and knew about Lightman's past in Northern Ireland.
