yeah, that happened to me. I had just been dumped by a guy like Edward and clung to the edward in the books. the second time i read the series i was over 'my ed' and compleatly fell in love with Jacob. Even though I'm not in the Twilight fandom, and only read the books occationally, I'm soooooo Team Jacob now <3

To be fair, Meyer started making Jacob a TOTAL JERK in the later books just so she could have an excuse to completely shaft him/make him FALL IN LOVE WITH A FUCKING BABY. I mean, personally, if I liked Twilight at all/had to choose a "team", I'd be Team NewMoon!Jacob.

Hello? Everything about ~Jacob~, the good and the ovum-lusting, is direct from the loins brain of SMeyer. What bizarre clown logic.

It's not clown logic to say that he shouldn't be blamed for something that he had no control over. Jacob was always against imprinting (well until he got desperate at the end, but even so he would never have wanted that with Renesmee had he had the choice!), he liked free will (too bad Smeyer doesn't!), and it was hammered by Smeyer that NOBODY who imprints has a choice in doing so.

So obviously him imprinting on Renesmee (against his free will and personal choice--he wanted to effing MURDER the thing before it happened, come on!) cannot be used against him (esp. not in comparison with anything Edward or Bella does for instance, in which they DO have a choice, even if Bella likes to pretend otherwise sometimes).

It'd be like blaming someone possessed by a demon for the evil things that demon did while in the person's body...THAT is the bizarre clown logic, not what I'm saying!

Oh buh... but can't you see Jacob isn't as horrible because he was written by SMeyer and it was her that ruined him so you can't blame Jacob for what SMeyer did, unlike Edward who is horrible because he totally wrote himself.
