Maybe I am paranoid or overthinking it, but then can't people see all of the secrets you've ever posted? Even if the account itself were never linked back to me, it would just make me feel weird for people to know that -- you know, hypothetically -- the author of that one secret about hating that one Supernatural character is also indifferent about Twilight, plus they still sometimes cry themselves to sleep over the way the first Unico movie ended, and they feel bad about refusing to beta their friend's Magnificent Seven fanfic, and they're in love with their multifandom RP partner who plays the Sailor Pluto to their Ash Ketchum, and they tell all their friends that they named their son after a family member when they really named him after Dr. Manhattan, and also they can't get to sleep at night unless they hum Theme C from Tetris to themselves. What I'm trying to say is, I prefer tinypic.
