I bring anime, and het.

Bleach: IchiRuki and IshiHime should have been canon. The only time the female lead really is the best match for the protag instead of his male best friend/rival, and it doesn't happen. Dammit shounen.

Magi: AliMor shouldn't have been canon, because falling in love ruined Morgiana's character. Alibaba should have had a political marriage with Kougyoku, and Mor should have stayed single.
