Because a lot of the criticisms are for problems that plague fiction the world over and have plagued it for as long as modern fiction has existed, yet people act like they're unique to Harry Potter, because they're addicted to finding new things that are wrong with HP and having new reasons to add to the JK Rowling is a horrible person list. It's immature and disingenuous, and has become very far removed from any real concern over JK Rowling's actions. If anything, it's a distraction from them. JK Rowling continues to influence anti-trans policies and sentiments, but let's talk about how *spins wheel* an unnamed character in Book 2 is ADHD coded with their one line of dialogue and how they're treated in an ableist manner by the text in the one following line of prose about them.
