Seconding this. A ship tag I used to follow started to get really negative, and honestly made me more stressed than inspired. But not looking felt weird, because checking it had become part of my daily routine.

Anon might consider getting a site blocker if the habit is especially hard to kick. I use Firefox on mobile with the Leechblock extension. Works like a dream. It can even block specific keywords in the address bar, as opposed to entire sites.

And if it's hard to stop checking those tags cold turkey, they can set a time limit to get away from it bit by bit.
