Love How I Met Your Mother, hate Ted.

Like Grey's Anatomy, at least earlier seasons, but strongly dislike Alex, Izzie, George, and Avery. Also disliked Lexie by the time they killed her off.

Love Star Wars. Dislike Boba and Jango Fett and Poe.

Love Doctor Who. Dislike Rose.

Love Criminal Minds. Dislike Elle. Was glad she was gone.

I didn't like Elle, either. And I felt slightly guilty about it, because I loved the cast of Criminal Minds and I do feel that female characters get more crap about displaying the kind of prickly, aggressive personality that she had. But I still didn't like her, and I don't like male characters like that, either. So I was glad when she left, and I love Prentiss so much.

I was also glad when Gideon left, though. I thought Mandy Patinkin was unreasonable and unprofessional with his hasty exit, though Gideon and Hotch did make a good team. Then we got Rossi, who got off to a deliberately bumpy start but once he adjusted, I loved him as part of the team, too.

She's honestly the only CM main character I ever disliked. I even liked Seaver.

I was glad Gideon left too. I liked him a lot, but I liked Rossi even more. And I think the team meshed together more with Rossi.

I thought Seaver was a badly written character in regards to her backstory, but that was in keeping with the (IMO) poorer writing in general at that point in the series. I didn't mind her character, though.

Agreed re: the team meshing. Gideon always seemed... distant and separate. I don't think the show ever had the whole team hanging out at his place while he made dinner, like they did with Rossi. Rossi, you could call if you needed bail money.
