No idea, but I have experienced issues. I haven't tried LiveJournal, but I did try using my Dreamwidth journal identity to log in to Deadjournal and Insanejournal. Both times I was sent to Dreamwidth to verify, then was sent back to the respective site to log in...only for an error message to pop up.

I highly suspect the issue is on their end, given that, not only do both sites have messages stating that support for OpenID is likely to have "rough edges", but I followed the instructions to the letter.

Also the fact that when I attempted to open a support ticket on Insanejournal, no matter how many times I edited my message to remove special characters and shorten it, the form would not submit. And I didn't see an alternate means of contact, barring buying an account and posting in the (long-inactive) support Asylum (aka community).

Sigh. I think the sites just aren't that well-maintained anymore.

I think the sites just aren't that well-maintained anymore. Probably true. Ah, well. Thanks for letting me know it's not just me.
