As someone who likes this phrase in a kinky (dom/sub) context, this is exactly what it does for me. Ageplay and pet play and whatnot are huge squicks. I don't think of those when I hear this phrase.

Personally, I like the strange mix of praise and degradation this phrase has. Like the character is praising her partner, for sure, but of all the ways she could have phrased it, it's probably one of the most condescending ways possible.

Like you can't quite tell the extent of the sincerity. (I also like tsunderes lol)
