Somehow the Babylon 5 sequel show, Crusade, manages to look cheaper and junkier than the earlier show with a tighter budget ever did. B5 itself is kinda timeless, but Crusade is so painfully 90s.

I think Babylon 5 is an amazing show that changed a lot about how television is made. But I also think it looks exactly like it was made in the 90s.

It does. It looks really 90s. But the characters and plots are so timeless that it doesn't matter. Crusade doesn't have those things to the same level, so it shows much more.
