Well, yes, kind of. I cherish every bit of privilege I have and will hold onto it as tightly as possible for as long as I can, because in my country a lot of that privilege has a likelihood of being stripped away at any moment. If my country had a better president (I'm not even asking for a good one, just a better one) I could afford to devote my time to helping people on the other side of the world. Interesting how having not just privileges but secure privileges is actually better for everyone, huh?

Yeah, really. Ever since a certain shitshow happens I've been paycheck-to-paycheck and can't *do* real activism besides donating to charities and boosting mutual aid. I'm sick of these tankies acting like wanting some escapism means we're somehow contributing to genocide.
