I am so sick of fans of The Expanse coming into other fandoms. They are worse than Firefly fans for that.

Not OP, but I think it’s more fans of a thing showing up in other fan spaces to talk about how their thing is so much better. Or just bringing it up at the drop of a hat.

There is an extra level of smugness with fans from certain things. I've definitely seen it with Firefly fans, don't have as much experience with Expanse fans.

I guess because I don't really get into hard scifi fandoms, I don't experience the ex-Expanse people. But I'd be hard-pressed to believe anyone is as bad as the Firefly fans. The show's been over for 24 years and your showrunner is a POS. Get over itttttt.

Expanse fans can be kinda snotty and pretentious, but on my experience on par with The Black Sails fandom.
But Firefly fans OMG. I did like this show, long time ago. But at this point I actually actively hate it because I am sick of it's fans whining

Hand on heart, I cannot imagine anyone in fandom worse than Firefly fans. They are truly the most insufferable lot and they make me happy their show got canceled.
