Classic Doctor Who turning into the Tom Baker comedy half hour was what killed the original run of the show, it staggered on for a decade but never recovered from that. Just as modern Who will never recover from turning into the Tits McGhee show. Some decisions are just so stupid that they kill a show.

I do not understand the accusation that Dumbledore was 'made gay after the fact' for brownie points. Did anyone else read Deathly Hallows? Hearing he was gay was a confirmation of the obvious, imo.

I still want to go to Harry Potter World at Universal someday.

I'm sure I have friends who would go (not transphobes, just not very online people). But I would have to somehow make sure they didn't post pics on FB because many of my FB friends are very vocal about not supporting HP and would not believe that I didn't know about JKR's issues.

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'm trying something new with the comment secret thread and extending the deadline to comment until Monday's post goes up. I'll monitor this thread until then, and hope the extra day will be more helpful for everyone.

I AM SO SICK ABOUT THIS. I LOVED THIS CLOWN'S MUSIC. His most popular song is called Romantic Homicide and I loved that song. I listened to it over and over... he was my second most listened to artist... I made the mistake of reading the article about exactly what he did to this poor child and I cannot even express how horrific it is. After the news came out I was so hoping there was another explanation, but to be honest, once it came out that he was having sex with aka raping a 12-13 year old child, I knew I couldn't listen to him again either way. I can't separate the art from the artist for this one.

DO NOT LOOK UP HIS ALLEGED CRIMES IF YOU'RE SENSITIVE TO VIOLENCE.

It makes me sick that countless true crime vultures are going to make content/$$$$$ about the murder of this 14-year-old child, who had been groomed by her murderer since she was ELEVEN. It's already starting and it makes me so incredibly ill.

I'm recovering from my trip so it will be a pretty low key weekend for me. Just video games and watching a couple of terrible movies with my sister probably. Maybe I'll try to do some crocheting as well.
