Classic Doctor Who turning into the Tom Baker comedy half hour was what killed the original run of the show, it staggered on for a decade but never recovered from that. Just as modern Who will never recover from turning into the Tits McGhee show. Some decisions are just so stupid that they kill a show.

See I didn't even clock that OP might be complaining about that because the secret is barely coherent as someone who only has a passing knowledge of Dr Who. I thought there was like scantily clad women running around in the new seasons or something.

But for real, the Dr was a woman once, I can believe that there are people still mad about that but man it's pathetic.

Right? Like, maybe I'm old but Tits McGee has always been used for extremely boobie, and what few promo photos I've seen of the Doctor she had extremely not very much boobie. Is it only used as a general pejorative against any female now, or is OP so bad at trolling that they don't know that?

Anyway, this is how I learned that there are people named “McGhee” and not just “McGee”. When they first posted this in the comment thread, I wondered if it was actually a weird racist comment about Belinda Chandra.

Yes, of course, because 'Oh no the BBC budget cuts have broken the TARDIS, we must do every episode on Planet A Quarry in Wales' was such a high point for the show..??????

I can't say much about new who, because I tapped out 3 episodes into Capaldi and the absolutely dogwater writing he got, and found Tennant as wearing as you apparently did Tom Baker, but come on. Don't act like it's those things that ruined it rather than those things just not being to your personal taste.

Calling a not particularly boobily endowed woman 'tits mcghee' just because she's a woman is just lame, though. Grow up, baitposter.
