First name that I thought of whenever I see a question like this.

I remember the Marvel fans losing their shit at the Thanos reveal opening weekend for "Avengers", and then hearing Thanos in the comics had fallen in love with the personification of death and was on a mission to collect souls to impress her. My Persephone/Hades shipping ass was like "Damn what am I in store for with this guy as the big baddie?!"

And from what I can remember, he...did.
But like...the villain was not fun at all. He didn't seem to be enjoying hurting the good guys either.

It always felt really clunky. Nothing fits right but it's all super shiny and RDJ's cracking one liners so who cares?
