I used to buy almost all the merch released for my fandom (it's small so there wasn't THAT much stuff) but I can't afford to do that anymore. In a way it sucks, but it has gotten easier over time. I never needed all that stuff anyway. How many t-shirts and hoodies and jackets and enamel pins etc, can one person possibly need?

I read a book. Hated everything about it. Characters cardboard, writing trash, plot out of a fanfic, title uninspired, cover design basic. Even the author's name was stupid.

I later learned that the author is trans and now I feel bad, they picked that dumbass name for themselves!

I am irrationally angry that the Masters of the Universe trailer shows Adam as holding the sword aloft as he shouts "I have the power". That isn't how it goes. He holds it aloft as he says "By the power of Greyskull", he holds it across his body when he chants the second part of the power-up sequence. I am such a fucking nerd.

Most of the trans people I know irl have chosen rather *ahem* interesting names. I only know one trans person that chose a "normal" name. I mean, happy for them and I will call them whatever they choose but yeah.

Yeah, I like some rap but you have to filter through a massive amount of bullshit to find good stuff. Even a lot of rap by women buys into that shit (looking at you, Nicki Minaj).
