I don't watch this so like, idk about specifics of this situation, but I don't think good representation should just = characters who are good people. Like, as a queer person I think heavily sanitized queer characters who are good respectable people with healthy relationships, are boring as shit. It's not great if they're ALL evil, but I'm gonna be more excited about a queer character who does some fucked up things stylishly. So like, completely understandable for people to be excited about a black woman who's an awful person and a fun character, and I DO think it's better representation to have some of those around than have all representation be heroic.
