I can't say I care that much about Pete Davidson, but what is with the judgement this seems to imply: who he impregnated after only having been together about a month?

In a completely consensual sexual relationship, pregnancy is not on one person. And I don't think there is anything wrong with adults having sex with each other and pregnancy can be a result even with perfect birth control usage. And once pregnant, there isn't anything wrong with choosing to have a child.

I think OP means, or the way I took it, is that the people who think he's going to randomly become a mature sensible person are even more delusional as he wasn't in a longterm relationship and clearly had no plans to be a father at that stage. Yes pregnancy can happen even with protection, but the fact this was unplanned and rather sudden makes it even less likely he's going to be a responsible father.

Ngl that sentence stood out to me too. "He impregnated"? Like all on his own while the mother stood by passively? The OP might not be wrong about this guy being an awful person but that phrasing is wtf

Right? I mean, either a major birth control mishap or she LET herself get impregnated by him after only a month of dating. And I really don't know the circumstances but what's to say there wasn't a bit of babytrapping going on (a possibility on either side)?

Apparently, she knew from the first date that she wanted him to be the father of her children.

"Elsie Hewitt always knew Pete Davidson was the one.

The British actress, 29, and her comedian boyfriend, 32, spoke with Bumble for a new campaign, where Hewitt, who is currently pregnant with the couple's first baby, shared she knew she'd have kids with Davidson from their first date.

"When we went on our first date, like we went out to dinner for the first time, I was like, 'Okay, don't think that I'm crazy, but I just know you're going to be the father of my children," Hewitt shared. "And he was like, 'Yeah.'""

😬

The only one I feel bad for in this situation is the baby.

Well, at least the kid will be tall.

It looks like a baby trapping on her part. I’d say everything is pretty much he said, she said right now except he isn’t saying anything. She’s saying a lot and generating income by doing so. I doubt anyone ever thought he’d be a good father, anyone with half a brain cell could tell he wouldn’t. But OP’s vitriol combined with the casual misogyny leads me to believe they probably don’t have half a brain cell.
