DA

Hysto "feels" like an extreme procedure versus oophorectomy, or have you looked into it to "know"? Especially if you are a young person that might end up lifelong-dependent on HRT medication in a red state - who knows when they might do something stupid like ban all estrogen in some stupid anti trans campaign...

Yes, I'm aware of what hystos are. I was in a relationship with someone who had one at 20, and know someone who also got one in her mid 20s. One considers it a lifesaver, the other regrets it, and I value having different perspectives. I just can't afford it. My sister has looked into the surgery before and found no in-state providers who would. I can't afford to travel out of state nor afford the surgery. If I suddenly became rich I might do it, but it's not an option now. You also have to take HRT if you get a hysterectomy. My state could potentially take my HRT away (if I was on it), which is another factor besides money. I'm already at risk of potentially losing birth control.

I dunno, man. If I say "I don't know if that's a good option for me", I feel like that should be respected...?
