What are some media that generally appear to be disliked, but you think they are actually decent?

Muppets from Space, the Muppets (2015), One Piece, most Sonic media, Super Mario Bros 1993 movie

The Last Jedi was my favorite movie of the 2010s.

The symmetrical throughline, and the way it plays out with every single character, is just perfect IMO. Like. Shakespearian good for a SW movie.

I LOVE The Last Jedi. I think it's my favorite movie of the series after Empire Strikes Back. It hit so many good beats for me, I like Luke's progression, the CINEMATOGRAPHY in that movie is so good... All of it.

I don't think The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is a /good/ movie, per se, but it's one of my all-time favorites just for the fun, and from a literary perspective, I do think it's a pretty good interpretation of the original characters! Jekyll, for instance, finally gets to be a flawed character in his own respect, rather than just a victim of meanie Hyde.

Also I don't like Alan Moore or his graphic novel anyway, so win-win that the movie is fun and he hates it.

I love Chronicles of Riddick - that's not a popular opinion, lol. I know some others also love it but we are a minority.

stuff others love that didn't land for me
Big Hero 6 - meh
Brother Bear - awful
Coco - eye roll (Book of Life was way better in my opinion)
Klaus - okkkay??
The Wild Robot - no. just .... no
Encanto - shrug (Turning Red handled generational mistakes/healing better)

Coco was basically the same thing as Corpse Bride except Latinx and more kid oriented.

Lakeview Terrace got mixed reviews, but I can vouch for one third of it. The white guy is a good representation of how it feels to be uninterested in masculine posturing but aware that other men think less of you for it. The black man and the black woman also interest me, but I can’t vouch for them the same way.

I liked the women Ghostbusters better than the guys.
I really dislike Titanic, Blade Runner and It's a Wonderful Life and everybody else seems to LOVE those movies.

I like Blade Runner a lot, but I understand not liking it.

I like the 2016 Ghostbusters, too! Holtzmann was my favorite part of it.

Me too. The original Ghostbusters makes me a little uncomfortable. And I hate Titanic and It's a Wonderful Life, and Blade Runner just bored me.

I think Independence Day is a fun movie.

That's a popular normie opinion, but I'm pretty sure it counts as a movie hated by fandom.

I love Silent Hill: Homecoming which is a VERY unpopular opinion among SH fans.
