I hate it when people say Michael Jackson did nothing of value during the last 20 years of his life and was washed up. He released Dangerous in 1992 and HIStory in 1995 which were great albums. He toured abroad in Asia and Europe during the 90s. Even Invincible (2001) wasn't a bad album. He was even planning a comeback tour called "This is It" in 2009. It sold out tickets. He looked pretty healthy during rehearsals for the concerts. MJ died only days before the tour truly started. If he didn't die, i think the comeback would have been a massive success.

Also, he became a father of 3 kids. A devoted father according to his children. Seems understandable he would prioritize that over his career later on, especially considering his own upbringing.

Yeah he had a momentary lapse in judgment 24 years ago. To quote the kiddos, it was cringe. For a 1-2 week newscycle. I get the feeling you weren't born yet.

Shared DNA has nothing to do with devoted parenthood.

I agree. I feel like if he had survived to have done the tour, most of the world would've welcomed him back. It's such a shame that it had never happened though. I can sympathize with having so much PTSD that you literally can't sleep because of it.

Also, HIStory was crap. And the way to treat insomnia is not having some dodgy doctor come and give you unsupervised anesthesia, holy shit. What a stupid thing to do.
