I'm sick of being bullied whenever I mention using generative AI. If it's not accusations of killing the environment, it's "Wahhh wahhh you're stealing people's art!" Oh, shut up. I am only creating a handful of fun images for my own amusement in the privacy of my own home. I don't sell anything, I'm not making money or claiming I made the image. I'm so tired of being told I'm wrong for my preferred source of entertainment. Everything sucks now in case you haven't noticed. Am I supposed to just not ENJOY things anymore?

And don't come at me with that crap about data centers harming the environment, because those claims are overblown. Ethically, it's fine for me to use AI. Even if I was doing any harm at all (which I'm not), it would barely be a scratch compared to all the billionaires who pollute the air every day with their private jets.

Then stop airing out that you use a technology that's extremely controversial. Get a fucking backbone and own up to it. If you believed you were truly doing nothing wrong, this wouldn't bother you. Go find a pro-AI community instead of crying to us about how things you choose to do have social consequences.
