Not OP, but it was a movie about killing people. And you were supposed to cheer for the murderers just because the people getting killed were Germans and the killers were Jews. And I don't think Tarantino was trying to be ironic or make a statement, I think you really were supposed to enjoy watching Germans die. Kinda sick, no?

I'd disagree if only because of the scene in the theatre, when the Germans are watching Nation's Pride. I feel like the people cheering at the dying Americans, and Hitler referring to it as Goebbel's masterpiece could very well be a jab at the audience. On the other hand, it's Tarantino, so who knows.

Haven't seen it yet and if I do it's only for Bela and Tarantino because I basically hate ever actor in it.

How much will you bet that not more than 3 people here know who Bela is? xD

He is a German singer from a band "Die Ärzte" (which I personally would say is the best German band we have, but I might be biased since I really love them lol). He is also doing some solo projects as well as doing some independent movie work. Obviously he managed to sneak a short appereance into IB :)

Oh, I hated it, too. I still get angry just thinking about it. Apart from that- Gideon Burkhardt and that Ärzte guy were in that movie?! Didn't even realize that. Learn something new everyday, I guess.
