We'll just have to agree to disagree then. I by no means think Misha/Castiel fans are the only crazy of fandom, but I think their form is the most incendiary and mocking, hands down.

What actually DOES happen is a wave of support for either Misha and/or Castiel. I don't see bashing happening to anything where people attach their names to it. And if trolly anons just kept their whining to themselves, it probably wouldn't have devolved into fucking ICON WANK.

Plenty of people that have nothing against Castiel or Misha take issue with the way a lot of his fans behave. Hell, some people that like him, are embarrassed by it.

I'm not going to lie and say that some of it isn't Sam/Dean fans with a bias, but to chalk it ALL up as some big Sam/Dean/J2 conspiracy against Misha/Castiel fans is, as I said, sticking your head in the sand.

Either you're talking inside of F!S or you're not. If you're trying to say that non-Sam/Dean and/or J2 areas OUTSIDE of F!S are really clucking their tongues over Misha/Cas people based on stuff that happens OUTSIDE of F!S (like, IDK, J2 tinhats), then you're going to have to prove it.

Inside of F!S - people are sick of a picture, because they're bored of it and it hits a squick button. Like it hasn't happened before in any other fandoms and it won't happen again.

People who aren't in SPN fandom have been more than happy to say as themselves how they feel about SPN bullshit. Where is the majority of Misha/Cas detractors from? Anons. Do Misha/Cas people have the reputation for zealously stalking people back to their journals and starting wank, therefore precipitating the need for anonymity? No. Who does? HM AGAIN I WONDER. When you do the shit yourself, you're always paranoid someone's going to do it to you.

I think J2 tin hats have the worst rep in fandom, actually.

I'm not a Misha/Castiel fan myself, but as long as they're having fun I don't care what those fans do. I know how to scroll. And TBPH, I'd much rather see a thread this large be filled with funny .GIFs than the silly bickering there is happening here.
