It's wankbait if you presume people actually cared enough about who uses what icon to predict there would be outrage over it. And personally, I never would've guessed. Because it's ridiculous.

The whole subject of the ship wars in this fandom is wank!bait. And aren't you one of the Mishaland mods? I would suspect you would be more aware of that fact than most.

Add to an already contentious subject the fact that many people don't like being outnumbered by Misha/Castiel fans here (not criticizing, just an observation), and you're going to get pretty much guaranteed wank.

True. I just didn't expect it to arise over the appropriation of an icon that was already obnoxious and disrespectful. (I like it better used in this context!) It's just, y'know. An icon. Rather petty stuff. But then again, so is the kefir picture, and yet that apparently inspires murderous feelings in people across the Internet. XD
