2005 Kia Rio with a bad transmission and a short somewhere between the alternator and battery. I will drive this baby into the ground and if I can afford a new engine then, I will, because I can't get manual doors and windows and zero dashboard electronics anymore.

Omg I get it. My car's dashboard looks so primitive compared to the new ones these days but I like it. It's just simple and straightforward, all that I need.

I feel this so hard! I drove a 98 Dodge Durango until 2021. It had zero bells or whistles. Everything but the transmission was manual. My parents nagged me for years to replace it and even offered to buy me a car and I always refused because I didn’t want all the electrical nonsense that would just die and be expensive to fix. I drive a much newer car and it has a billion features and I don’t know what most of them are or how to use the ones I know about.
