Subscription services

How many do you pay for? Are they worth it?

How many are you on that you aren't the main one paying for e.g. family subscriptions you're a user on? How many of those would you keep if it were only you?

Honestly only ones i pay for are Amazon and Disney. But my mother pays for Netflix, Max, Paramount, Apple, and regular cable. I personally wouldn't keep any of those.

Family has a bunch of streaming stuff which I technically have access to but never really use. There are so many now I don't even know what all their names are

Out of all of those, I'd keep the vpn I already pay for, and the costco membership. lol

Dropout is the only one at the moment.

I pay for no streaming service at the moment. I do have access to my brother in law's amazon prime account, but I seldom use it nowadays. I'm way happier with no streaming since I end up wasting time watching too many movies and tv shows otherwise.

I do have other subscriptions, though. Proton VPN and a yearly sub to an art teaching platform.

I pay for Spotify because I use it daily for work. 100g worth it for work but I wish I could find an alternative.

I occasionally pay for Dropout - mostly during Make Some Noise or Gamechanger season.

I live with someone who has a bunch of paid streaming services and says they don't mind if I use them but honestly idek what they have because I just don't watch much tv these days.

I canceled amazon prime but I am in the middle of a free kindle unlimited trial and kind of loving it. But I am also cheap so will prob cancel when the trial runs out.

We're a family of 2, my husband and me. He handles the subscriptions, and from what I gather, he has an "only 2 at a time" policy. If a service pisses him off, he ragequits it lol. His only constant is Apple music, and then I think he alternates mostly between YouTube and Apple TV.

I'm deep in a menopausal depression and consume zero media. I don't even listen to music anymore. 😞

Um we're actually nice people despite how bad that all sounds.

For streaming, we have Amazon and Paramount. And our internet company gives us the ad heavy version of Peacock.

We also have a lot of other subscription services other than streaming though. Audible, Nintendo, Barnes & Noble, and the local farm co-op. I honestly don’t think that’s all of them, it’s hard to remember off the top of my head and the spreadsheet isn’t on my phone LOL
