I have to agree, some of the posts are pretty lame. But I figured that was the sacrifice for having such a fun/accepting community.

I think that just... happens with some fandoms, whether they have a MLI(something) comm or not. I mean, if your fandom has enough memes relating to everyday objects, you will get posts going "TODAY I WORE SOCKS AND ATE TOAST AND IT REMINDED ME OF THIS FANDOM OMG." It's annoying, yeah, but there's not a lot to be done about it.

That comm is such a train wreck. I love it.

Personally I find pretty much all MLI comms/blogs pretty effing stupid. Sure, once or twice something vaguely salient might be posted, but those are less than 1%, I'd estimate.

It's like me saying "I drank White Russian for the first time today. At first it tastes smooth and milky and oh so irresistible, but then the vodka cuts through and it's like battery acid in my mouth. Also, it's got the word 'Russia' in it! HOLY SHIT MY LIFE IS TOTALLY HETALIA FUCK YES!!!!"

I mean, it's....nice, I guess, but so damned uninteresting, y'know?

This community is amazing.

For real? So much seconhand embarrassment. It's why I don't watch the comm.

It's pretty hilarious in its fail, but if I were to follow that on my flist I think I'd die.

There's a reason why all the FML, GMH, MLIA, IMMD sites are moderated. The mod approves the posts or doesn't according to whether they fit the site, but it seems this doesn't happen in those comms.

most of them are pretty lame :/ but it all makes it worthwhile when there is a post that is actually funny

like that one about Antonio and Romano and some tomato shampoo, it had me laughing for ages. Instant classic.
