I more or less read slash out of necessity because the thought of reading about their actual wives or girlfriends creeps me out greatly and I don't like original characters. And there wasn't a lot of GnR gen-fic if I remember correctly xD
Also, what's this about Duff slashing himself with his current band? I'm quit out of the loop lately...

Mike Squires: the only thing on my mind when we leave the studio at the
end of the night is a pillow.
Duff McKagan: I have to second Mike on that....i like to put my head on
his pillow too. Whats better than two men and one pillow?! Stop it!
Geoff Reading: while i don't mind listening to music after a big day of
recording, nothing can get me relaxed enough to fall asleep after seeing
duff and mike sharing a pillow. nothing. absolutely nothing
Jeff Rouse: I really just like to relax after a long day, but to my
surprise when i got home I found Geoff standing over Mike and Duff
sharing my pillow? This is just getting a little out of hand?

Duff: Squires and I will more than likely play 'spin the bottle' with the
songs...but he usually just gets naked, eats a bunch of chocolate, and
cries ( muttering incessantly about some guy named 'Big Charlie'). It
sure is creepy, but Geoff must like it 'cause he comes out from the
bathroom smiling and looking relieved. Cheers! Duff
