A lot of people don't like this show, and a lot of people do. You're not special with your Glee hate, and this shouldn't be a secret.

Man, I hear you so much. I doubt you'd be 'crucified' for saying it because hey, the internets are pretty big and everything's been said, but you're certainly the first person I've read from who seems to actively dislike Glee the way I do. ♥ Don't feel bad!

I do kind of agree with you - nearly everything but the songs bores me or makes me cringe - but this is the sort of thing I'd write about in my journal. Why make it a secret?

LOL crucified for what? Believe me Glee fans are used to people not liking it. Most of them don't like it for the same reasons as you do. Kudos for trying though. We won't count on you for our Glee viewing parties, k? ;)

I only watch for the awesomeness that is Sue. Everyone else can GTFO.

See, the problem with Glee is where I live, everyone and their mom watches it. So when I say I don't like it/don't watch it/have no interest in it, I always get "BUT IT'S SO GOOD. YOU SHOULD WATCH IT." It's pretty much shoved down my throat, online and irl.

So I definitely see where you're coming from, and I agree completely.

The OP didn't say that they'd watched the pilot episode. I'm kind of curious as to which one they did with the "music is boring" comment. I mean, I don't care if someone doesn't like the show (I have plenty of issues with it), but usually the music is pretty rocking.

No need for this to be a ~secret, I always tell people who ask of my hatred for this show. But it works both ways, I'm not gonna judge them for watching it. Much. Although I still love Don't Stop Believing :')

It can be fun if you into a show like that but if it's not your thing then it's not your thing.

It's king of a love/dislike relationship for me. Took me a couple of episodes to really get into it. But I actually like the characters for their over-the-topness and selfishness and teenagerness. (I think I'll stop making up words now.) The songs aren't really my thing. The only one I liked was Proud Mary. I love Sue. She has some great quotes. And I burst into squee when Brittney/Santana was made canon. It's certainly not the best show on TV, but I think it's fun for what it is.

For me, the racefail made it pretty uncomfortable to watch.
