You can only ever please so many people. My point is, there are a lot of people who hate her for legitimate reasons, but there are just as many crazed yaoi fans who hate her (and Kairi and Namine) because 'OHMAHGOD TEH BOOBIEZ!' (This isn't slash-hate, I'm a yaoi fan myself.) It's the people who hate her for that reason that piss me off, not the others. I'm sick of all the girl-hate.

In all honesty, I think the whole "Namine is hated" thing is blown way out of proportion. In fact, most of the "crazed" yaoi fans I've run into either like her or are neutral. I never once saw any hatred for her that's as extreme as the hate for Xion and Kairi. I'm sure there are some people who hate her passionately, but there are those who hate Sora, DiZ, etc. passionately too but they aren't considered "problems" in the fandom because the cases are few and in between, just like Namine. I'm not saying that hate doesn't exist, but it's hardly anywhere near as widespread as the other two.

That being said, I do agree that hating on a girl JUST for being a girl that could possibly interfere with yaoi is stupid. Usually it's just a phase teenagers go through. They'll hopefully grow out of it.

Thankfully, Namine IS largely accepted/ignored. However, there IS a bit of hatred out there.

Ehhhh, no more than there is for Sora. Like I said before, it DOES exist, but it's not enough to draw attention to unless you're actively looking for it.

It's still frustrating. There are so man beautiful female characters, and nobody seems to want to see that.

I love Namine and I agree. Compared to the other two, she gets little to no hate.
