This! British =/= English.

It's pretty impossible to have a British accent because Scottish, English and Welsh are all ridiculously different even without looking at area dialects. This annoys me muchly! :p.

I went on a date with a guy once just because he was Scottish. It was great for one date, but when he's got his tongue down your throat you can't hear what he sounds like anyway. Nice guy, but he only got that one date and free groping because of the accent. ...And probably because I'd been dumped a couple months prior and any non-creepy attention is good attention at that point, but I digress. The accent was sexy, even when it was talking about a PhD thesis on fishery stocks.

I wish routinely that the foreign accent appeal worked both ways (though my Americanism has gotten me some hot attention in non-British western European countries.)
