Whoa, now there's a blast from the past. Tommy/Kim was my OTP back in grade school, before I even knew what the term for it was. Good times, good times. I remember reading a few Tommy/Kim fics at the Pit a few years back that nearly gave me diabetes because they were so cloyingly fluffy, so I think I can feel your pain there.

I agree, this was my first ship but I totally stay away from it now. I don't know who I hate now more, the TPTB that broke them up or the fans that ruin your fandom experience.

Agreed so much! They were cute at first...back in 1993-94 when Tommy was actually interesting. Then they made him ~~Jesus~~ White Ranger, and then came The Letter™ during Zeo and all the whiners who've still never gotten over it even though that was 14 years ago, and I just plain got sick of them. That and I've never really been a fan of Kim anyway.

(Besides, some lesser-known almost-canon kind of sticks it to those shippers in that there was supposed to be a reference in the Forever Red episode indicating that Kim married Skull, but it wasn't in the final cut of the episode. I kind of like that concept a bit better myself.)

I believe it was (meant to be) Kim married Skull and Kat married Tommy. :D
