They were one of my first OTPs as a kid. Go back and read the comics and watch the cartoon. They were canon all through those. Even ended up married with a kid at the end of the Devils Due run.

YES. Seriously, most of it is horrible, but Eccleston shines. He also has weird-ass sexual chemistry with Cobra Commander which freaks me out in a good way.

I was so pissed it wasn't as canon as it should have been. Mind control, really? They took away everything badass about her character and turned her into a puppet. It made me grind my teeth. Plus, they're both hot and I wanted them together SO badly.

Considering they've been canon in every other reincarnation of Joe I can track down, I don't know what they're idea was in the movie. Even if it just amounted to a couple comments or a little flirting, it was there in every other comic or cartoon. They're story was kind of a head-scratcher.

(Okay, this is me trying not to turn into the "THIS MOVIE IS THE ANTICHRIST KILL THE STUDIO" fanboys on IMDB. I'm really getting into the Joe-verse, but I don't want to turn into that.)
