Aaaw, Babe :) I don't remember if the ending made me cry, but I remember being sad at some points throughout the movie. I guess when you watch/read something when you're older, and you see things that you might have missed/didn't understand when you were younger, it comes as a bit of a shock.

Though, maybe I'm just reading a bit too deeply into your secret, lol OTL

Maybe because when you were a kid, what happened in the movie seemed possible and now as an adult, you know it isn't. I want to watch it again but it's hard to embrace the idea of a farm like that when I know they are all but extinct and an animal like Babe wouldn't have a chance to prove himself.
