I REALLY REALLY WANT A COMPANION WHO IS NOT A RELATIVELY YOUNG ATTRACTIVE HUMAN WOMAN FROM 21ST CENTURY LONDON. OMG. Even if you HAVE to have a male/female pair, you can make Twelve a woman or incredibly androgynous and never specify and have Wilf as Companion. That would be awesome.

UNF, I love androgyny! The writers should definitely explore it in the future.
I'm loving the idea of a female Doctor. At first, I didn't understand how it could happen. But one's personality resides in the brain, and so I believe now that anything could happen in a regeneration - different race, different sex.
