I'm not staff, but I believe a text secret is one that can't be posted because someone just typed a secret into a comment, rather than presenting it in image form.

I always feel a sad sort of pity for those who cannot manage to submit secrets correctly. Like what one would feel toward a mentally challenged puppy with three legs.

See, this is why I don't like grouping.

Two of the five "SPN" secrets (163 and 166) don't actually have to do with SPN fandom. 163 even says "pic unrelated" written right on it. So are secrets being grouped by image choices, now? Those two managed to bump the "SPN" count up to five, grouping the other three, making things less fun for, uh, SPN fans. Also now people who have some deadly aversion to SPN are going to miss two otherwise legitimate secrets.

I dunno. I'm so fucking sick of SPN and Doctor Who that if it uses a background image from either of those shows, I will scroll past it even if it's unrelated to the secret. At that point, I'm put off enough by the picture that I don't give a damn about the actual secret anymore.
