Thank you. Well with defaults it's the same as with desktop pictures. I get tired of them. Only I don't change my default because people know me under it. Anyway I'm not really tired of this default but sometimes I think it's boring and sometimes I like it again. It's weird.

Out of curiosity, is the person's default icon something they personally made or drew? Something they cropped from some picture found online? Or just something picked up from one of those icon coms?

Unless the icon is pretty or clever or in some way unique, I don't even notice it exists at all. Most people's icon's are boring -- characters from fandoms I don't know, tinted or cropped in the same cookie-cutter artsy ways. If the one you are talking about is bad enough to drive you nuts might be interesting enough for me to notice. Then again, it might still be boring.
