uh, personal taste? I think it's cute. It's not the greatest comic I have ever read, but she writes a good story with good art and it's set in an era of American history which I really enjoy. (And unlike anon's suggestion above, I'm not into furries, but cartoon animals are more expressive, and thus more comedic than people).

Huh. Not familiar with her older stuff, with the exception of what's on her dA account (illos, etc, but not many comics). I love her art, whatever it is she's doing.

Lackadaisy's just fun times, though. Anon-troll said "furries" but I don't think that's as much the case as people might think. There's something about the visual style of the 1920's--the clothes, the cars, the buildings--as well as all the historical tid-bits she throws in. A well-researched comic's pretty much a joy to read if it's incorperated as well as hers is.

As for it being anthro...eh, it lets her be a little cartoony, nicely juxtaposed with the realistic backgrounds and all, looks great, and is the best vehicle for telling the story. The story itself...well, it's kind of like I don't really care what happens, I just wanna watch, y'know?

That's one of those things I should be into (the art is 100% Cats Don't Dance and I LOVE the time period) but am not. I just can't get into it.

Personally, I both find the art really pretty and every single character utterly adorable. I'd read comics about those characters even if all they did was talk about the weather, but the story isn't boring either by any means.

Don't recognize her previous work, so I wouldn't know about that.

I didn't know about her previous work. I think I actually found Lackadaisy through F!S (Thanks guys!). Her pacing is aggravating and disjointed but I adore her artwork. I do enjoy anthro art but it wouldn't matter to me either way, I love the technique she uses. Oh yes and the characters, they are neat.
