The first character to jump to mind is Shinichi Chiaki from Nodame Cantabile, but he's kind of an ass, too. At least he *does* give encouragement, even if it is of the snarky variety.

Nothing sexier than House playing piano. Even when the show is suck-tastic, the Piano-gasms are well worth it. So yeah, even if it's sort of OOC for House, it's still an awesome secret. And who knows, music might be something that he'd be less of a prick about than usual.
