Fandoms: Transformers, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, UC Gundam -- I'm mostly into anime fandom, though I'm willing to try anything. ;-)
What in fandom interests me: meta, discussions, seeing interesting "what if?" ideas play out in fanfic, genfic, smut of all kinds (I'm extremely partial to m/m slash, but I wish there was more variety), finding good fanart, the sense of community
What in fandom does NOT interest me: wank, elitism, overdone pairings (usually), clichés (esp. when it comes to yaoi/BL)
Major Non-fandom Interests: Music, writing, politics (esp. environmental issues, gay rights, Native American issues, education, Iran, and issues regarding race, gender, homophobia, etc.), reading, hiking, photography, learning foreign languages (esp. Italian and Japanese) etc.
My LJ Contains Mostly: RL/college stuff, occasional political talk and music talk/YouTubery. I rarely talk about fandom on my own journal, and I'm pretty much a lurker as it is (I want to contribute more someday, though :P) though if you talk about it in yours I'll be more than happy to talk about it with you. ;-)
