Trek and Violin are an excellent combo, friends?

I'd say. 17 years classically trained, but that doesn't stop me from being able to play Star Wars, Trek and other random fandom music. Except for, you know, the lack of violin. Had to sell to cover rent. I miss it.

I know what you mean. Withdrawal from my piano has me hoping on the baby grands in department stores. It's gotten so bad my friends roll their eyes as soon as they see one and try to hold me back.

I know! I sold my piano to pay for other things while I was unemployed, and I miss it so much too!

Sorry to hear that. My BFF had to sell her French Horn to make ends meet too. It's even worse for her because no one is going to leave a 10K brass instrument around but they do feel pretty safe leaving a piano unattended. Until people like me show up and get shooed away, :/

I go to the local music store and play up the violins occasionally.

You must live and nice area! There is no kind of trust like that down here in the 'durrty south.' OT, love the icon.

Once you can prove that you can play and you're not just some guy off the street, they're pretty trusting.
